Glasses for me…

Not the greatest picture in the world…maybe I will re-post a better picture another day…but I have been getting lots of requests for me to post a picture of myself in my new glasses. 

Though I only officially have to wear them for reading and computer time…my eye doctor said I would also benefit wearing them while driving  and watching TV or movies.

I can’t decide how I feel about this new accessory.  On the one hand, I feel like a “new woman” a little sassy, while looking very smart.  On the other hand, these spectacles are one more thing to verify I am getting older. 

My kids seemed to have different reactions. Annie walks in the front door from school and says, “WOW! Mom I didn’t know you were getting your glasses today…you look so cool!”  Nathan just laughed.
